Each new CoGardener prototype brings us closer to our vision: a self-contained, solar-powered garden system that makes growing your own food simple, efficient, and rewarding. The upcoming v4 design is our biggest leap yet — focused on strength, usability, and shipping readiness. Here’s what’s new:

1. Stronger, longer-lasting frame

We’re replacing portions of the wooden structure with precision-formed metal components, improving both durability and assembly. The result is a cleaner, more rigid frame that goes together faster and lasts longer, without losing that warm, natural look of wood.

2. More room for your plants

The front of the enclosure has been raised to allow taller plants to thrive along the front edge. This change improves light penetration and overall flexibility in what you can grow.

3. A fold-down front for easy access

No more leaning awkwardly over the side. The new fold-down front panel lets you comfortably reach every part of your garden. And when it’s open, it doubles as a flat work surface for planting, pruning, or harvesting.

4. Brighter light along the front edge

We’re adding a clear twinwall polycarbonate panel to the front, increasing natural light for plants near the front wall while maintaining excellent insulation.

5. Simplified electrical setup

An integrated outlet inside the unit means all CoGardener components are now plug-and-play. No separate wiring or adapters needed. Just connect and grow.

6. Ready for accessories

The lid now includes a built-in mounting feature for accessories like grow lights, temperature sensors, or cameras. It’s a flexible platform that grows with your needs.

7. Flat-packed for easy delivery

Finally, the entire design has been rethought to ship in just a few boxes, making it easier and more affordable to deliver. Setup is straightforward, with panels that align intuitively and fasten quickly.

We’re excited about how far the CoGardener has come — and even more excited to share it with you soon. Stay tuned for photos and details as v4 comes to life.
